This course offers a basic understanding of property and ownership and how a Title company navigates the many issues that can affect the ownership and transfer of a clean title. While the Title Company works to eliminate potential problems in a transaction, Real Estate agents may still face challenges when property is in an estate or if sellers are dealing with issues such as bankruptcy and divorce. The research done by the Title Company and the coverage of Title insurance work to make sure that even if things go wrong, they can be made right without damage to your clients' interest.
